Casa de Mexico Building – Alameda Theatre
Client: Burton Rose Gonzales
Preliminary design of the existing Casa de Mexico International Building, constructed in 1946 and complete historical renovation of the exterior facade, neon tower sign, marquee and covered walkway neon lighting. This project involved the replacement of the entire electrical service to the front building signage, by providing new conduit, wire, switchgear, panelboards and automated sequential controls. A detailed study was conducted of the existing neon lighting to determine the original color, brightness, design and diameter of the neon lighting in order to provide a true and authentic replication of the original condition.
